Barney Miller Season 2-I have been waiting on this for years now.

There was also a series in the mid Eighties starring Jason Bateman called It's Your Move. I would like to see that come out on DVD.

Bourbon Street Beat
77 Sunset Strip
Seasons 2 and 3 of Son of the Beach -- they put out season 1 over four years ago
Same with Kojak and Quincy -- they seemingly start production of my favorite series and then stop
Man from U.N.C.L.E.

I loved It's your move. There was one episode where he made a band out of skeleton puppets, the Dreggs of Humanity. Fine show!

Clueless the TV show, Clarissa Explains it All, Salute Your Shorts, Hey Dude, The Adventures of Pete and Pete, Sister Sister, Reading Rainbow, Ghostwriter and Wishbone, the shows of my youth. And 90's cartoons, like Eek the Cat and Terrible Thunder Lizards and Rugrats. Those were awesome.
And I also wish that shows my parents watched when they were my age, like Dallas and Three's Company, were on DVD, because my parents are always talking about them and they sound good. Actually, those two I mentioned are on DVD, but there are others, like Bionic Woman, which I found on Amazon, but it looks like it's only available in Region 2, and Love American Style.

Fridays was a strange show. I remember Michael Richards playing with army men. The skit with the cook, only one ingredient would do the trick. Yes, yes, yes, yes.

Seasons 1 and 2 of Pete And Pete are out and should be readily available. I bought them the first day they released. However, I think we are out of luck with season 3.

I review DVDs for the San Antonio Express-News, and I just got a e-mail from Sony that Barney Miller Season 2 will be released Jan. 22.

Two I'd like to see:
Showtime's "Brothers"
A mini-series: "Ike" with Robert Duvall in the title role.
"Quark" would be nice to have as well.

I wish they'd put out more Mad About You seasons. They released season 1&2, then did some lame compilation. I also remember this short lived show Get Real with Anne Hathaway and Jesse Eisenberg that I'd love to see again. And not that it'll EVER happen, but Wonder Years.

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 14, 2007 9:24 PM PST
How about Burke's Law, Flamingo Road, the short lived US Tales of the Unexpected?, Thriller with Boris Karloff

Those are all worth it and for some superb comedy why NO Phil Silver's aka Sgt Bilko or Car 54 -Where Are You. Two really great Nat Hiken shows that seem to get no respect :(

Some of a few shows come to mind:

1. Valerie/The Hogan Family (1986-91)- hopefully the fact that its leading star left after Season 1 due to differences or whatever hasn't precluded its release.
2. Sugar and Spice (1990)
3. Bagdad Cafe (1990-91) - the 2-season wonder with Whoopi Goldberg and Jean Stapleton in it.
4. Golden Palace (1992-93)

i only saw ONE Car 54? but it seemed too silly to take seriously even though a comedy. Andy Griffith show had a wide array of well written stories where there was some pathos, even drama, and that was the greatest show of its kind.

oh wow, i just remembered that when i first started watching tv with consciousness, the shows i remember seeing and knowing that TV shows premier when school starts, was The Cowboys, Firehouse (?) and Chopper One. Oh wait!! another one that should be on DVD just popped into-hold on, we should ALL number these;
#21. The Hogan Family
#22. Sugar and Spice
#23. Baghdad Cafe
#24 Sgt Bilko
#25 Car 54 -Where Are You
#26 The Cowboys
#27 Firehouse
#28 Chopper One
#29 Man in a Suitcase
#30 Run For your Life

Lancer--at least Season One before the writers forgot there were two brothers. (I was partial to Johnny, myself, but fair's fair...) Also, Season Two of Here Come the Brides.

A previous post mentioned Showtime's Brothers. I second that one!
