I purchased this information like other manuals to begin this industry career. What I learned here in this digital media I had already read in so many FREE information pages on the internet. It offered nothing different or new my hopes then were to have purchased digitally what would have come down by a real physical book to start my education. I do not recommend you spend any money on this and go direct to other "CURRENT" books and training manuals. Few if any are out there (unable to recommend many - own a handful that are real) most have to come from a training center course as this industry is very tight liped about information around the internet or even those who have passed their license and moved on. Maybe for good reason keeping the majority out like real estate agents when everyone wanted to get their licenses only to ruin the industry having hundreds of realtors on every corner too many to service the needs of the public.

This has real information from a practical view. "Live for xactimate" if you want to do this job. Once you know this and can get going you are on your way. Cat companies will use you for any hurricane if you know xactimate - which costs 2000 dollars per year (with contents).. The licensing is not a major problem. This is not a "how to estimate" book. There are not many good guides for what needs to be done to fix damage and there are few which show what the insurer will accept.

This eBook has a lot of basic information, I really did not expect too much for $.99. I have been calling different companies trying to become part of their roster, and thankfully I am now working Hurricane Isaac claims! I recommend getting on a few lists and not committing to one.

Good book for good tips.

As someone who has taken an interest to claims adjusting, this was a good first read. It was easy to follow and had great tips and hints. I prefer to do my research through books, call me old fashion. For the price it won`t break the bank... It is a good reference or resource to have starting out or learning the role of an adjuster. It is all not about chasing storms.
