Great idea - but not perfect.,
By Lowly Peon "RG" (Southeast Alaska) - See all my reviews
This review is from: thepurplebook Green: An Eco-Friendly Online Shopping Guide (Paperback)
So, overall, I dig it. The idea behind it is pretty neat. However I noted three main issues:
- some websites no longer exist (but I suppose that can't be truly prevented) - I wish there was a gift giving guide for things OTHER than material objects (like Heifer International, donations to eco places, and gifts like certificates at [...]) - and finally, it should be spiral bound on the top or side so that you can lay it flat while you're getting ideas out of it. I have small hands and it was super duper hard to keep this thin book open with one hand while trying ot write down ideas or type a URL into my browser with the other! I'm hoping for an updated, improved version 2.0! |
