I have seen no problems with it in Windows 8 so far. I start everything from the old style desktop but I doubt that makes any difference.

Ari, yes it is. I'm using Windows 8 64-bit, but I purchased and installed the Microsoft Office Home

Ari, yes it is. I'm using Windows 8 64-bit, but I purchased and installed the 32-bit version of Microsoft Office Home & Business 2010 - 2PC/1User on both my main system and laptop (also 64-bit OS). Microsoft even suggests using the 32-bit version of Office on Windows 8 64-bit.

Office runs great, no issues, no crashes.
