No. It doesn't stream Amazon prime, however I stream directly from my PS3. Lord points out some other alternatives as well. The software is somewhat slow and buffers simultaneously on some apps (Such as YT & Google...) However Netflix streams flawlessly & it's energy efficient.

Not through its own Smart self but is compatible with Sony BluRay players and others that do have those capabilities.

No , you will need another source, I bought a Panasonic DVD player for about
$120.00 which has Amazon Prime streaming on it works great.

YES! YES! Amazon Prime has Just been added 04/17/2013! I tested Hunger Games on Prime and the quality was fantastic (and I have a lower tier cable plan).

No not Amazon, it streams everything else well if you have a decent wifi or ethernet connection. I hooked up a blu-ray player that plays Amazon.

No, it does stream by itself. If you want to see Amazon Prime, get Smart Blu Ray player that will stream Amazon.
