Is this compatible with iMovie on Mac?

This records in mp4 format, apple likes mov quick time. You can find free software to convert the mp4 format to quick time. The sd card format is great. But you really need a 64gb size card. You may want to continue to look for a camcorder which records in mov QuickTime check out JVC models

Yes. We own the camera, & my husband makes iMovies all the time. It's been a great camera. We have 5 kids & use it a lot.

Yes, is completely compatible with Mac and iMovie. But in some cases, you might need to convert the video to prevent quality loss.
