Is this toy washable? It seems with a squeaker and mirror and other stuff that you would not be able to put this in the washer. How do you wash it? I am expecting my first in a couple months and think these toys are really cute, but I wonder about washing these soft toys.

I bought Freddie the Firefly for my son 4 years ago; it was his favorite toy and I washed it all the time. Just tossed it into his load and dried on low heat. It always came out just fine. I got it back out recently for my daughter, and the squeaker has gone on it, but I have no idea if that's related to the washing or not.

I have and 8 month old. He has had the firefly since he was 2 months old. That means it has done some laundry time... The only problem I had was that I had to sew a piece of cloth back together; however it has been washed countless times. Hope this helps

I just got it, and it says "hand wash only" on the tag. I might still try putting it on delicate in my machine then air drying.
