A pioneering text where even the title really does explain things! :),

This review is from: "I thought people like that killed themselves": Lesbians, gay men, and suicide (Paperback)
I guess my bias about this text is that though it is nowhere near current the ability to cite this title in your research is PRICELESS if you are writing about LGBT issues. The title itself describes an attitude that is still found in politically conservative circles... The late Eric Rofes' scholarship is, though dated--still a worthwhile perspective. I am so pleased that I was able to purchase my own copy of this text for my personal library. The content is as you would expect it. |
