as storage for the other 2 missiles. But in top of each tu-

have become his fingers.how cool is that?Demolisher is a
very fun toy but his joints feel more loose than other
Armada toys but he`s still very cool.I recommmend him to
anyone.

5.0 out of 5 stars Demolisher--A Walking Battle Tank, August 17, 2002

Demolisher is one of the first wave in the new Armada line for Transformers. Like other first wave toys, he has an indication of how cool the line can be, but he also suffers from some problems.

Vehicle mode is really cool, a futuristic tank/battle station. He's got everything from missile launchers (only one arm fires though, the other holds the missiles), to finger guns, to treads, to a little chair for a Minicon. The top part can be moved, but that's about it. The fun part about him is that he can do a lot of other alt modes, not limited to the base they show in the instructions. Fans have made a stun gun, a chicken walk mode, a chaired tank mode, and an ED-209 out of him.

As for Blackout, Demolisher's Minicon, he's also pretty nifty, as are all the Minicons. Not much to say about him, other than that he does have the ability to have his guns/arms to the side or on top in vehicle mode, giving him two different looks for such a simple change. He can be attached to Demolisher in vehicle mode and "launched" though he doesn't get past Demolisher's legs and doesn't go far. It's more fun to put him in the chair, really.

Robot mode is neat two for Demolisher, though with less fan alt modes (I'm sure the imaginative will come up with a few) and less posability it's really his looks that carry him. Unlike Cyclonus only one hard point on Demolisher does something, in this case it "unlocks" the arm that fires the missiles. By placing a Minicon on that point, his shoulder raises a bit. Pulling down (in robot mode, to the side in vehicle mode) you can launch the missiles. It's nice to have this type of connection point, where the missiles can still be in the launchers when a Minicon is attached and will only fire when you want them too. The other three hard points don't do anything, which is nice also, since you can stick Minicons on them for decoration (trust me, with Blackout and the Land Military team attached to him, he's not a bot to mess with).

You can rotate the arms around to either give him the finger gun hands or use the missiles as longer fingers and rotate the miniguns to serve as shoulder weaponry. Either way works, though I prefer them as finger guns.

Demolisher is part of the first wave of Transformers Armada figures. He is cool-looking missile tank that turns into a robot. His minicon, Blackout is a radar truck that be transformed into different modes. Demolisher has the look of a Decepticon with his fearsome colors and attack form. Blackout can be used to shoot Demolisher's left arm missiles, he can sit at Demolisher's controls in tank mode, or he attach to the front of Demoliher to form an extra weapon. Demolisher and Blackout are both easy to transform.
Demolisher does have his shortcomings. Only one side of his missiles fire. I don't think it would have been too much trouble to make them shoot as well. Demolisher is also supposed to launch Blackout in vehicle form. Mine doesn't really work: either the incertion point fails to hold Blackout or Blackout is caught between Demolisher's treds. Demolisher is also wobbles on his two legs; he isn't very steady. I also am disappointed that Hasbro made his face black. You can't make out his features that well. (On Galvatron's black face you can, but Demolisher has to be in direct light.) I wish they made it cream colored like the cartoon series. Blackout has no shortcomings. He very mobile and sturdy. He is one of the better minicons created. Overall I would rate Demolisher at 3.5 stars for fun. He is a good character, but I recommend Thundercracker or Cyclonus before him.

I think Demolishor looks awsome!!But...WHERES THE COLOR!!!????It looks as if he has been scorched! But the deisin is raddical.Though it can't hold that Star Saber! This is a must have for tank lovers.NOTE:It is boring alone.I say that it is more fun with another one.

2.0 out of 5 stars Diecast Construction, Its a Lost Art, September 23, 2002

If you're one of the 10 people that like Armada than only you would rush out to get Demolisher. The only reason I got him was because my local toy stores were selling them 25% off.

First of all its made with very cheap plastic. If you remember the G1 days where toys were made with Diecast parts than you would be disgusted with Demolisher. Another flaw of Demolisher is that he has four missiles, but only 2 of them can shoot. That doesn't make any sense to me at all.

His minicon Blackout is pretty cool for a toy its size. If you remember the old Headmasters,Powermasters & Targetmasters, than you can appreciate how these little guys have evolved over the years. When Demolisher is in vehicle mode, he can combine w/Blackout and Blackout can be made into sort of a projectile and can be shot with a touch of a button. Unfortunately this doesn't work very well. Blackout doesn't stay in place most of the time & when he does, you will be lucky if the feature works.
In vehicle mode Demolisher can hold 5 minicons & in Robot mode he can only hold 4.

Overall I would give Demolisher a D but Blackout deserve gets a A. It didn't seem like Hasbro put any effort or thought into Demolisher so I wouldn't put much effort into getting him either unless you got him for 25% like I did.
