Does it let you know of traffic delays ahead? If so, how much in advance of the traffic delay, and will it reroute you to avoid it?

Yes, it does alert you of traffic delays ahead of time, and it recommends alternate routes to take.

Yes it does show you traffic delays ahead and how much you will be delayed by the traffic. Then it gives you the option of rerouting if delays isn't too much or automatically reroute you with traffic is very heavy. Overall, it's pretty good and efficient. I do not know the exact data on how much in advance it does show you of the traffic delay, but if you zoom out you can see which parts are red later on in the route.

You must also have the power cord with the FM receiver connected and positioned to receive the FM signals in order for the unit to display traffic info.
