My tripod measures 27 in exactly, would it fit in this bag

It probably won't fit at 27 inches but that depends if the head is on the tripod. The bag length is 26 inches and my tripod with head is just that or slightly over. I don't think a 27 inch length tripod will fit.

No you have to take the ball head attachment off......................the bag needs to be made bigger.

I don't think it will and give your tripod the protection it needs. The bag is 26 inches in length. It may allow you to push an extra inch out of the end but I'm not too sure. Hope that helps you out. I do love the bag.

I don't think it will fit unless you remove the head if you can. My tripod is 26-1/2 inches with the head and there is just a teenie weenie room to spare. Although this bag is great.

The bag measures 27" on the outside. There is a thin layer of padding sewn into the side walls, so the inside length is probably a little less than 27".
The zipper opening measures 26.5". The answer is probably, yes - but it would be very tight. I wouldn't recommend using it this way.
