Henry M. Morris (1918-2006) was one of the foremost biblical creationists of the late 20th century; he was also the author/coauthor of books such as The Genesis Flood the Biblical Record and Its Scientific Implications, The Scientific Case for Creation, Scientific Creationism, What Is Creation Science?, etc.

Here are some quotations from the book:

"It may be, some also say, that even though all processes now tend toward increasing entropy, perhaps in the past they were different. But again, to the creationist, this is a strange type of reasoning for scientists. Science is supposed to proceed from confirmed facts of experimental observation. How can processes which now always involve INCREASING entropy justify belief in past evolutionary processes of DECREASING entropy?" (Pg. 18)
"(Creation) does not predict, however, that there would be no changes at all. On the contrary, it predicts that there must be some sort of conservative process which will act to perpetuate the kind in spite of environmental changes. That is, if the environment changes, some process (call it natural selection, if you will) takes over to implement a corresponding change in the species, enabling it to survive as a species in the new environment." (Pg. 86)
"But where is the remarkable cosmic converter which transforms solar energy into evolutionary growth? Having energy and an open system is irrelevant---ALL systems have that. The question is HOW?" (Pg. 100)
"Isaac Asimov has tried to imagine possible ways in which the entropy principle might be harmonized with the origin or the present universe... Well, MAYBE! By imagining conditions that do not prevail in our present space or time... one could presumably 'explain' anything he may fancy." (Pg. 133)
