"The Student Entrepreneur" is a simple yet concise financial formula written for the strategizing young adult. David Soltau does an excellent job of describing his own personal entrepreneural endeavors and passing the creative ideas onto the average beer drinking college student. He makes earning money doing the activities you already do seem simple and easy. I highly recommend giving this book as a gift for any new highschool graduate.

I found this book refreshingly informative, motivational as well.I am glad someone has put together a book multitude of tangible moneymaking small business ideas. I have tried a few of the jobs listed, and never thought of charging for it. Being the owner of a small business as a college student brings confidence to manage a large successful business later in life. Makes a great gift for a tight budgeted teenager.

Thanks for writing such a great book,

There is nothing like trying to go to school full-time, and work 30 hours a week. Unfortunately as a Junior at ASU, that has been my only option, until now. The $tudent Entrepreneur is a great book that details so many easy ways to make money, that I would be crazy not to try at least one. Why would I settle for making $7.00 an hour, when I now own a book that shows me different ways to possibly make hundreds of dollars per week? Instead of fearing about how much debt I will be in after I graduate, I will now view the rest of my college years as an opportunity to make money. I highly recommend this book to any starving college student who is tired of living on $30.00 a week. It's easy to read, very well detailed, and fun. Thanks again David. It's about time someone created a book like this.

Where Entrepreneurial Behavior Begins,
This review is from: The $tudent Entrepreneur (Paperback)
My son is about to begin his 1st year of college at Midwestern State University. Like many of his friends, he has no idea what he really wants to do with his life. When asked, his answers range from...be a computer geek to just kick footballs. I recently got a copy of Solteau's book and convinced my son to read it...well, most of it because he jumps around from one idea to another. So now he comes to me asking to help him set up an accounting program on his computer. The seed is planted and now he wants to come up with his own idea of how to make money at school. I don't know that there's anything else out there that makes kids think about working for themselves in terms they can relate to immediately. I think it's a terrific book!

Dave has hit upon a capital idea. If only this book was available while I was in college. Who know where I would be now? Its fun, easy to read, and the ideas presented are do-able. I highly recommend this as a must read for every college student, especially those studying business. Kevin Wisniewski Team Development Manager |
