umi Infant/Toddler Friends Crib Shoe

I ordered a pair of these "crib" ones through another site and they are cute and really well made, but the back elasticized part that goes around the ankle is so tight that the shoe fits very poorly if even slightly bigger then the foot. They're annoying to get on and they come off way too easily and oh yeah that elastic never stretched and looked so tight and uncomfortably cut into my poor baby's ankle. You can see how they look in the photos, but it honestly has no give. It's really strange. The worst shoes we've had yet.

Got these for my baby daughter who's 9 months and they give her great grip when she pulls herself up holding on to things/furniture etc and she's already trying to walk as she holds on so glad I got these already. The size is a little big for her still (20) but they stay on her feet even when she's crawling around so I'm really happy with them all around. The quality is exellent, they are so very well made in every detail.

I ordered these, then the next day found a pair of 0-6 mo Robeez on sale at Marshalls, so I bought those. Once I got the Umis in the mail I realized that I like the Robeez so much better. The Umis are kind of stiff, and not really shaped to fit an infant's feet. Once they were on, there was lots of extra fabric behind the heel, and not much room in the toe. They don't fit as snugly as Robeez, so they fell off my baby's feet almost immediately. I am returning these and keeping the Robeez.

So sad to report that these ADORABLE little shoes have NEVER stayed on my baby girl's feet. I thought at first that they were just too big, so I waited a few months and tried again to no avail. After months of periodically trying out these shoes, they still don't work. Perhaps it's just because she has super skinny feet, but no matter how well I put them on and tighten the velcro, they come off soon afterwards. I'm surprised I haven't lost one by now. I haven't found any baby shoes that work though either. I was hoping these UMI shoes would be the answer, but I think my slender-footed babes just have to wait until they are walking to wear shoes.

I purchased these for our daughter because she had begun using a baby walker, but wasn't getting much traction on our linoleum in just her socks - plus her socks would get dirty. The grippy-circle on the toe helped her gain traction on the floors and kept her socks clean. I gave them four stars because, like some other reviewers, I found they had kind of an odd fit, and could be difficult to get on our baby's feet. Otherwise, good shoe, quality construction and materials.

I bought it for my 8 month old and they are wonderful. The main advantage is they are really wide, otherwise her feet would not allow wearing shoes. Great design. A bit pricey, but definitely worth it!

I love how these shoes look, adorable beyond belief, and they worked great when they were on. However it is difficult to get on the baby's foot. It seems like with the fact the the front flap unvelcros and pulls down it should be easy to get the baby's foot in but it just wasn't. Sometimes I would get lucky and it would slide on easily and honestly I don't know what I did different then, but usually it was a bit tough to get on. I probably wouldn't buy another pair of shoes like this one but I would buy other shoes from the company. I did love the little rubber grips on the bottom, and I didn't have any problems with the elastic digging into my baby's skin. The baby seemed to like the shoes, didn't seem uncomfortable at all, although she was annoyed while we tried to wrestle them on her. (I would buy another pair that hooked like this is they were really cute, so the slight difficulty in putting them on wouldn't deter me entirely)

My daughter was 4 mos and 14lbs when I ordered them and they squeeze her foot and leave marks. They are cute but I don't like them.

I bought this for my 2 yr old granddaughter..it is so cute, true to size, and she loves it. The price was considerably less than other web sites. I am very happy with the product.
