These are super cute and very well made. They are quite adjustible so they lasted all summer.

I think these shoes are too stiff for little baby's feet. Besides they run too big for my son. Although the leather is great and they are very well done I'm going to return them

The straps on these sandals are very stiff for a little child. They left ugly, red marks after just 5 minutes of wear. So I tried loosening the straps a bit, but then they chafed against my son's delicate skin. I replaced them with another Umi sandals (bought at a BM store so he could try it on) that fit much better. Though I think this product deserves only 1 star, I gave it two b/c Umi tends to make excellent shoes.

I purchased this shoe for my 10 month old, who is learning to walk, he has been bare feet for the most part, and generally he seems to have pretty large and wide feet. I thought the fact that this shoe is so comfortable is great, you have to be careful though the adjustable straps can sort of get away from you and you may end up putting them on too tight... then again maybe you're a better shoe putter-oner then I am :) My son did not like it at first and was going nuts the first time, the 2nd time, he was okay with them, if a little awkward and learning to walk, the 3rd time he seem to have gotten a hang of them and seemed comfortable enough. The soles are very soft leather and the straps seem to be fairly comfortable as well. I will say I wish they weren't quite as thick as adult shoes. They are too thick and for little ones just learning to walk, that can sort of get in the way of feeling the ground enough.

Personally I still like them, they are very cute, and though I'm not a fan of the "Made in China" over all I am very satisfied with the quality and and look of them.

I got the 5.5 for my 15th month old. It's a nicely made shoe, and all three straps are adjustable. However, the straps are a little stiff and he asks us to take them off after a few steps. He does have wide, pillow-top feet so I think these were just the wrong type of shoe for him. I think these sandals work better for children who've been walking for a few months.

I learned the hard way that if you return a package they can cut $20-30 from what you paid claiming "re-stocking costs" and other lame excuses. With that kind of a service other suppliers are cheaper and better.
