This is a great book of mystic realism.,

This review is from: The Underside of Stones (A Story Cycle) (Hardcover)
As in so many South American authors, this book carries on the tradition of mystic realism -- but in such a simple fashion as to hold one's attention completely. It should never have gone out of print!
