I really like this pen. I've been using it for at least 5 years now, and despite trying lots of others, I haven't found one I like better. It writes smoothly, rarely skips, and the ink flows well for very expressive lines. Unlike one of the other reviewers, I prefer the 0.7 tip -- not too fine, not too bold.

My only gripe is that the ink takes a few seconds to dry on shiny surfaces, so I have to be careful not to touch it too soon; this isn't a problem with most paper.

What can you say about pens? Either they write or they don't. Well, I tend to bear down when I write (handwriting experts, what do you have to say about that one) and find the these gel pens help me not apply as much pressure saving my hand if I have to take a lot of notes. I also find the writing smooth and clean. I highly recommend these pens. I just wish I could find refills to save the environment instead of buying a new box when I run out.

Signo gel pens write well...almost like they're melting butter across a hot pan. They are the BEST pens you can get and the ink is vivid, permanent and flows well. The ONLY thing that keeps this particular pen from getting that 5th star is the width of the point. In Japan, you can get .4 and .38mm Signos that are PERFECT for those of us who write small. You can also get partially black colors like burgundy-black and blue-black that really stand out on a page.

If Mitsubishi (Sanford's parent company and the company that actually makes the pens) would just see fit to bring over those colors and those ultra-fine points...I'd buy grosses of these pens every year.

If you don't mind the sort of fattish tip, then these pens are PERFECT. You cannot find a better value for the money. I HIGHLY recommend them!

I've been using these Uniball Gel Grip pens for at least 10 years. Won't use any others. The pen has a really good feel and writes beautifully without having to bear down as hard as you do with some cheaper or give away pens. Writes on most papers and index cards that have "waxy" surfaces without skipping.

I found these pens about 8-9 years back, and they are all I have used since! I love the size, grip and smooth rollerball writing. Ink is just the way I like it to appear. And the price on Amazon.com beat all the office supply big-box stores... and tax-free, plus the (always)free 2-day shipping with my Amazon Prime. Ill be back!

Great Pens.....hope they never stop selling them! The flow is so smooth and the feel of the pen its self promote a feeling of self assurance.

The only thing that could be done better is if these pens were available with a BOLD point.

Not much that you can really say about a pen except that it's an excellent pen. It does not bleed or smudge. Consistent ink flow. Comfortable to hold.

First, this particular pen has a cap, not retractable - and I prefer retractable pens ...
But, aside that, this pen writes so well and I never have trouble with it writing - when I'm in the hospital jotting down vitals the last thing I need is a pen that doesn't write ... great smooth pen!
