I'm a bit of a pen snob - I hate writing with cheaply made pens that can't distribute an even line. If it skips, or scratches, or is just not pretty or comfortable, I'll toss it without a second thought.

That's why I was thrilled when I tried this pen. Here are a list of it's pros:

1. It is very smooth - this is of utmost importance. I absolutely hate writing with a scratchy pen.

2. Distributes an even line of ink.

3. It's comfortable, although nothing remarkable there.

4. It's a very good looking pen.

5. It comes in different sized tips. 0.8, 0.5, and my favorite - 0.3. I will not write with any tip larger than "Fine Point" - that is typically a 0.5 tip (depending on the manufacturer). It is not as common to find a smaller tip, when you do, it's called "Micro" or "Super-Fine". This is one of the few GREAT pens that's also offered in my preferred writing tip. I like this size tip because it gives me more options. It's a liquid rollerball pen - which means that if you want a thicker line, all you have to do is write a little slower or write with a greater angle. If you want a thinner line, write faster or with a smaller angle (have the pen be closer to perpendicular to your paper). By having a Super-Fine pen, I have a much greater range of line sizes that I can create. More range, more options, that's always a good thing.

6. It's refillable. The ink in the pen should last you a very long time, I don't know of many people that keep a pen long enough for it to run out of ink...I'm one of the few people I know who does! But it's nice to have the option of just buying refills.

7. Offered in many different colors including my favorite - "Blue-Black". I hate writing in black because then my writing kind of blends into the printed text of documents that I'm writing on. Red is too bright and a document all marked up in Red usually scares people. Blue - well, blue is so common - everyone writes in blue. Purple - well, purple is great for my personal documents, but not good for use at the workplace...same goes for Green, Orange, and Pink - although, when color-coding my markups - having this wide range of colors is perfect. Blue-Black is great because it's a different color, so I can satisfy my desire for individuality without sacrificing the professional look. It's a very nice color and one that will not dimish your credibility - in fact, it may enhance it and people ooooo and ahhhh over the new color.

In conclusion, this pen is perfect and I would greatly recommend it.

I found it interesting to read the other reviews, thinking that I was the only individual in the world who actually cares greatly about my writing instrument. It was nice to hear others agree. Though the vison elite's are moderately expensive I will never use another pen again. I am a graduate student and these pens provide smooth and consistent lines. I bought my first set over a year ago and continue to add to the collection. Top notch and by far the 'best pen' for all your needs.

I was so happy to find this for sale in the US. I originally bought them in Asia (source of all the nicest stationary, etc) and had been resigned to paying ridiculous prices in Japantown in SF until I realized you could buy them here.

Be sure to get the 0.5mm variety - it's very smooth without being too thick and inky like some rollers can be. Also, I'm a big fan of the blue-black color, though I'm sure others are great too.

Now if only someone would import and sell the 0.3mm Pilot G-Tec-C3 (another great pen - though a different style) at a reasonable price.

This is an excellent pen. There not much I can say about a pen because it's a very simplistic tool of writing. However, for individuals who are seeking roller pens, I recommend this pen because it great with writing. This pen works well on writers whom chose to write on xerox/printing paper.

When I barrowed this pen from a friend I was so impressed I drove down to Office Max and bought a few. This is probably the best pen you can get under $20. It writes VERY smooth, no scratchy lines, but no blotches either--just smooth consistant lines. It feels good in the hand and it's quite sharp-looking too. Arguably, these pens are a bit expensive, $9.00 for a pack of four, but their quality makes it worth it.

It has just enough blue to distinguish it from a copy and not too much blue that would make it too unprofessional.

Very comfortable pen to write with. An excellent fine point with a unique ink color for a remarkable look that also indicates class.

I love, Love, LOVE the Vision Elite (Micro point) pen!! I also love the fact that it is refillable. What I HATE is that refills are impossible to find. Oh, yes, you can find a few black or blue refills running around (less in the micro fine point) but forget about getting any color refills. I'm a color freak. I use color-coding for organization at work and at home. What I want to know is, why does a company make a refillable pen and then provide no source for obtaining refills?
Bummer!
If anyone knows where I can get color refills, reasonably priced would be nice, I'd be ever so grateful.

When i ordered this i thought i was ordering black ink pens. They are actually like a navy blue, but it's growing on me.

This store either shipped the wrong items or described them wrong.

I already had the pens and wanted refills, to save money and the environment.

I got pens instead, and 1/2 as many (since pens cost twice as much). Further, they were not in retail boxes, but bulk in rubber bands, so it seems as if they are buying bulk orders and reselling them.

Misleading, but returning would have cost too much to worry about (money saved out the window).

Don't order from this company...

(PS - and yes, I submitted the same review for different refill products because I ordered ALL of those products in one shipment and got PENS instead of REFILLS for all products ordered!!)
