5.0 out of 5 stars A little gem for every vSphere admin November 23, 2009
Format:Paperback
During the last VMworld in San Francisco I was lucky to receive a preview copy of this book.
And to take away the suspense, I still stand by my first impression of this book. A huge collection of all kinds of vSphere related facts, procedures and best practices.
If you're a vSphere admin and you have some questions, better first consult this booklet. Chances are you will find your answer in here.

The authors (Thomas, Duncan, Dave, Stuart and Bernie) are all well-know contributors in the lively vSphere community.
It will be like having one (or more) of them at your side during your daily vSphere administration tasks.

And to top it of, the book is crammed with practical PowerCLI scripts from none other than Alan Renouf.

This book will rapidly become one of your most consulted tomes.
In fact, better get two copies, one at work and one at home ;-)

5.0 out of 5 stars Must Have March 9, 2010
By Greg
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
I am a reader and somewhat of a collecter of good technical books but this one blows them away for bang for buck. I was suprised at the books size, but even more suprised at the quality and quantity of information that the authors were able to fit into its pages. It contains a concise description of common and non-common tasks including images and powershell commands to boot. This is my new favourite book, I only wish i'd bought it earlier now. It goes with me everywhere, so much so I bought 2. One to leave at home and one to carry with me when I go to work. There is an occasional blank page which is designed to provide you a space to make your own additional notes. Put this one in your bag, pocket, car or just tape it to your desk so others cant get at it. A wonderful addition to my library.
