j r is a mighty talented lady. Her resonant, soulful music doesn't sound like anything else I've heard in the fields of blues or folk or jazz or pop or what have you. There are plenty of influences, to be sure, but j r has diffracted them through the shadowed prism of her heart and soul, and the results are like nothing on this globe of earth. It's one of my favorite albums, and I'm eagerly awaiting her next release.

Jr has a wonderful soulful sound. it doesn't really fit in any catagory she has made her own and it is delightful. her music fills me we passion. Veretta
