Good Question. I am using a 2 amp charger with no problems. Contact Zerolemon and find out as you don't want to damage this awesome battery. The 5-6 fully discharges and charges are for a new battery. After that, you won't be charging that long. I found that I have increased battery life by discharging to 1% instead of 2% for each 12 hour cycle with no problems. Warning ...do not discharge below to 0 or you may not be able to ever charge the battery again. This warning is from experience. :)

Yes, You would use the same charger that came with your S3. You don't need to purchase any additional chargers. Also on the battery instruction pamphlet that comes along with the product it actually encourages that you " only use original battery charger to recharge." Hope this helps.

The backplate cover is very snug so if that metal disk is more than 1/32" in thickness I would not think that wpuld work. Perhaps you can find a way add velcro on the outside of the case and on the metal disk that might do it. Of course that would not be as stylish as it now.

Length is 5 and 1/2 inches, width is 2 and 15/16ths and depth is 3/4 of an inch. Does add a little to the size but, the battery powers my S3 for 3 days with heavy use. Hope this helps...

Yes you can. The only thing that changes is the battery size, case, and overall phone size. Other than that, the charge port is the same size (USB Micro-B).
