The Wash It Laundry Ball cleans your laundry without the need for soap or detergent. It also eliminates the need for softeners and makes washing clothes easier than ever. Just throw it in your washing machine and you are good to go for up to 100 loads. It is a pure, hypoallergenic way to wash clothes that is safe for the most sensitive skin, as well as babies and infants. Each laundry ball contains solid spheres that react with water on contact and create a molecular ionization process. When they are in the machine, the balls produce ionized oxygen and increase the pH level of the water. Disappointing product.
I might as well wash my clothes in just plain hot water... The result is comparable. I progressively got back to use detergent and will throw away these balls.

Very Pleased With These,

My wife is very sensitive to detergent. We have an HE front loading washing machine. Before finding these, we used to wash the bed linens twice. The second time we would wash them without soap. We set the machine for extra rinse each time. Even then, we could still smell the detergent. We have been using these for a few months. We only use them for the wash load containing the bed linens. I put one laundry ball inside a pillow case. This reduces the noise of the ball banging around inside the washer. After the load runs, I take out the laundry ball and turn the pillow case inside out. There are a few blue specks inside the pillow case from the laundry ball which come off in the dryer. We only run the load once. The detergent smell has been almost completely eliminated. We have been pleased with the cleaning. I spent several hours doing yard work yesterday wearing leather boots with the temperature in the 90s. My socks were wet with sweat. I threw the socks in with the bed linens today. Since I am writing this review, I put them right up to my nose and took a big wiff (something I don't normally do). They smell clean and they look just as clean as they did when I washed them Monday with detergent and bleach.

I have used these laundry balls for years and I love them. I have sensitive skin and so it is hard to find detergent that does not irritate. Also I don't need fabric softener. My towels come out soft and fluffy. My clothes last longer and the colors stay brighter, even using warm or hot water. And yes they really do clean my clothes.
And they last for a long long time.
