Disappointing product.
I might as well wash my clothes in just plain hot water... The result is comparable. I progressively got back to use detergent and will throw away these balls.

My wife is very sensitive to detergent. We have an HE front loading washing machine. Before finding these, we used to wash the bed linens twice. The second time we would wash them without soap. We set the machine for extra rinse each time. Even then, we could still smell the detergent. We have been using these for a few months. We only use them for the wash load containing the bed linens. I put one laundry ball inside a pillow case. This reduces the noise of the ball banging around inside the washer. After the load runs, I take out the laundry ball and turn the pillow case inside out. There are a few blue specks inside the pillow case from the laundry ball which come off in the dryer. We only run the load once. The detergent smell has been almost completely eliminated. We have been pleased with the cleaning. I spent several hours doing yard work yesterday wearing leather boots with the temperature in the 90s. My socks were wet with sweat. I threw the socks in with the bed linens today. Since I am writing this review, I put them right up to my nose and took a big wiff (something I don't normally do). They smell clean and they look just as clean as they did when I washed them Monday with detergent and bleach.

I have used these laundry balls for years and I love them. I have sensitive skin and so it is hard to find detergent that does not irritate. Also I don't need fabric softener. My towels come out soft and fluffy. My clothes last longer and the colors stay brighter, even using warm or hot water. And yes they really do clean my clothes.
And they last for a long long time.

I love, love, love, these laundry balls. I don't always use them at home, but boy what a wonderful item to take on vacations. We took them on a two week stay to the beach this summer with four other couples, everyone used these, saved having to transport heavy laundry detergent. I will never be without these, as long as I can get them.They are rather hard to find, not at my local stores. Thank you.

I have been using the Wash It Laundry Balls for years and love them. It saves me time, money, water, electricity and longer lasting clothing. Why would anyone want to use detergents with fillers and finally pollute the waterways? I would encourge others to give them a try.
