It is simple. Either connect an HD OTA antenna directly to the television antenna connection or update your satellite or cable service to HD service. I am using an Over The Air antenna and have a perfect picture.........for free!

It is really not the TV that limits your viewing, but rather the signal your set is receiving. When stations converted over a few years ago, I remember that viewers were offered special antennas/converters so that they may continue free reception ... otherwise, you must upgrade your cable service to digital.

I have comcast cable. I have wifi built into my tv. It is a sharp. I bought that because I wanted netflix. I dont know how I ended up with cable tv, but I have looked into getting an antenna that fits on the back on your set.
