My daughter was so fussy and cried all the time, I tried everything! My mom told me to try gripe water. So I gave it to her the first day and noticed results within a half hour!! She is so much happier! It's like she is a different baby! I would suggest this to anyone with a baby who has gas, spits up too much, fussy, or colic! It really works!!!

What a godsend this product has been. My mother used a similar product with me as a child, and I was very fortunate to find this when my son was born. He used to get these bad hiccuping spells, and this was the only thing that worked to calm him and stop the hiccups. It works almost instantly. It also helps with teething misery and gas. He loves the taste of it, so whenever he sees me break out the box, he doesn't try to fight me off as he does when I try to give him cold medicine. I trust this product.

I love this product! I use for myself and all my three kids when they were infants. I don't ever give my babies as much as they recommend on the bottle , just as small .4 ml from an infant dropper and it helps my babies burp right after I use it.

I love the fact that it's organic but be careful because this needs to be refrigerated and I only realized that later. I have already openend it a couple of days prior so I had to throw it out because it was out without refrigeration. Plus it's a bit inconvenient since I need to use it on the spot and it's going to be too cold for a baby( unless you want to give your baby out of the refrigerator ). Personally I don't have time to take out a bit so I can use it later. I need to be able to use it right out of the bottle in which case this doesn't work since it's too cold.

My little guy is usually a very content and happy baby (bless him!), his biggest enemy is the gas that tends to build up by night time (which no amount of burping him gets rid of), so he fusses and squirms in discomfort at night time. I had tried Mylicon but it didn't work, my sister suggested gripe water in case it was colic. So I went out and bought this. I went online (here in particular) to read reviews and saw that it had mostly positive reviews, so I thought I'd try it next time he fussed and cried at night. BAAD IDEA!

First, the recommended dosage was quite a lot for a two month old (a full teaspoon, which I gave with a dropper) but I decided to trust the label. As soon as I gave it to him, his whining turned into full blown screaming and crying. He did pass gas but it was not worth the sleepless night I had, with him waking up more often than usual and crying most of the time.

I thought that all that was still just the gas, and I thought I would give the gripe water to him again the next day in the daytime (so no sleeplessness for me) but halve the dosage. As soon as I saw that gas was building up inside him (he started to squirm a bit and arching his back) I gave him half a teaspoon. IMMEDIATELY he let out a blood curdling cry which continued to cry for hours! And to top it all off the dosage actually made his gas worse! His tummy became all hard, he wouldn't bend his legs and he was crying more than I had ever seen him cry because of gas!

My poor little guy was soo miserable and I felt terrible for making him go through this kinda pain not once but twice! This gripe water is going straight in the trash, I would NOT recommend this to anyone!

I had been using Little Tummies Gripe Water that got rid of my one month old's hiccups and lessened his evening fussiness, but switched to this since it's organic. It doesn't do anything but make him throw up even more. It's the strangest thing. I will never buy it again, and I guess go back to Little Tummies, even though I hate to use anything with parabens in it.

I previously bought Baby's Bliss gripe water (on amazon), and was very disappointed when I got it and discovered that it contains sugar -- fructose is one of the ingredients. Why would I want to give my newborn sugar water?

In theory I could make my own, but my time has some value, so I've been searching for an alternative, that just has the active ingredients, without sugar.

I was happy to discover this brand, that claims clearly on the front, "NO ... SUCROSE"

Don't be fooled. The NUMBER ONE INGREDIENT in this is fructose. So yes, technically, it does not have sucrose. But the implication that it has no added sugar is a lie. It's mostly sugar water.

Doesn't anybody just sell a plain extract of ginger, fennel, and possibly chamomile ? At this point I may just make my own.

I actually use this for my daughter's reflux, and it calms a flare at least 75% of the time. I have tried a few other gripe water brands, and this is definitely the best. Plus I know it's organic, and that makes me feel good about giving it to her. However, when she gets gassy it has not seemed to help much.

We began using this when our son was about 3 months old. He always seemed to have trouble with gas and while I curbed my diet, that didn't help 100%. After looking for something to help (tried Mylicon, was pointless)I stumbled upon this. Let me be upfront, this isn't a miracle cure BUT it does help. Anytime he got fussy and seemed to be straining I would give him a dose and it seemed to alleviate any pressure he was feeling. It is worth a try in my opinion.

I gave 4 stars because it isn't a miracle product but worked for us.

Gripe Water has become the Miracle Water/Cure in our family. My children have all had reflux, and this has CURED their reflux. My youngest had reflux so severely that we had to start perscription medication, and after he suffered neurological side effects, we took him off the perscription meds. He was loosing weight so fast, that the pediatrican was considering admitting him to the hospital, when FINALLY I got some gripe water and POOF- no more reflux. We use it 3 times a day as needed and he's fine. The Ped about had a heart attack, because she really thought we were going to loose him. She is so happy that she now has a box in every room of her practice and reccomends it FIRST now before the perscription meds!
I also use it for my older children when they have the flu or just a tummy ache and POOF! They feel better, calmer and ready for a good much needed nap.
