5.0 out of 5 stars These Guys Rock!!
These guys rock. This is a young band that is destined for great things. They have nailed that modern, post grunge alternative rock sound and definitely seem to have been influenced by Creed, yet still retain their own distinct style. Their greatest strengths lie in Neil Alday's songwriting and a rock solid rhythm section anchored by drummer Brandon Bittner. My only...

1.0 out of 5 stars .......crap
Why won't it stop. Curse this post grunge climate of filthy bile that spews forth regularly from the dime-a-dozen meatheads who love Nirvana but just.... don't.... get.... it. I shake my head.

I would have put the drums more out front.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Truly Awesome Alternative Band, February 22, 2003
This review is from: what a beautiful waste (Audio CD)
I have been a fan of Social Burn for awhile now, and I have to say from the moment I heard them I was impressed. They have a sort of Our Lady Peace feel to them, so if you like that type of rock you'll absolutely love this. Think Finch, Unwritten Law, laced with Creed, Zwan, and even aspects of Staind, and Puddle of Mudd. They cover a very wide sound spectrum from angry, driven songs, to the sad and emotional. Social Burn has something for everyone. Go out on a limb and buy this CD. You won't regret it.

I have not heard the CD yet, but I heard Social Burn on a local Radio Station. I believe they played "Down" (the song with the growing popularity) and "You" and from those two songs alone Social Burn became my new favorite band. I'm anxiously awaiting the CD in a store around here, because I'll be the first to buy it!
