i have a 20 inch neck and i am worried about the neck piece not going around enought to be secure while weight training

Sitting on the table like the product photo, the diameter side-to-side at the tops of the "pods" is about 5.5 inches when the gap between the ends of the pods is about 1 inch. The rear part is very flexible with a light spring to it, and with light pressure at the ends of the pods that diameter spreads to 7 inches when the ends of the pods are about 5 inches apart. In weight training you may or not find it a little loose when on your back, say for a bench press-- everyone is built differently so it's something you could only find out by trying it.
