This is the illustrated addition. It is sometimes helpful to see a picture of the statue or place that Robert Langdon is talking about. I found it helpful when I read the book, but then again I did not yet see the movie.
I read Angels & Demons some time ago, and waited for the movie, which I saw when it first came out in theaters. I have a 1080p HD Home Theater, and want to get this movie in Blu-Ray HD form as soon as it becomes available in BD form. I no longer buy any SD DVDs, only BD as the older ones just don't cut it now that you have seen Pa-Ree (i.e. Paris), meaning movies on Blu-Ray disks. Amazon does not have this available to order pre-release -- I would think they would exploit pre-release sales as much as possible, since it gives great emphasis to producers to make products which already have a large pre-release order history. I actually want all Dan Browns movies to be quickly available in Blu-Ray once they start to come out on SD DVDs. On the other hand, why even bother with SD DVDs anymore -- you don't see video cassettes coming out any more, and the same tech upgrade should happen with Blu-Ray. I read that 60% of U.S. households now have high definition TVs already installed, and great numbers of upgrades are happening daily.
