what does this mean?

I just checked the link on http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/h.html to see if they might have actually put an estimated shipping date back. My Kindle order is not listed under open orders anymore. I checked with the orders in the last 6 months and it still there at least. I still have not received an e-mail and there is no serial number on the "manage your Kindle" page. Does this mean that it will be shipped soon or should I not get my hopes up?

I think open orders closes out each year as far as the site goes. My order did the same thing. Look at the order page on the main Amazon site...everything you need to know is there.

It's not a "year" thing, it's just a timing thing on the website. Mine originally disappeared, too, because after so many days it doesn't show up in "Open Orders" any more. However, just change the time horizon under "See More:" to "Orders placed in the last 6 months" by using the pulldown menu. It should show there.

To insert a product link use the format: [[ASIN:ASIN product-title]] (What's this?)
