any mouse will work, so long as it has a USB cable or the wireless device is USB.

I'm not too sure what brand or type mouse will fit your needs.I feel your not comfortable with the existing touch pad? If so,you can adjust the tapping zone and the sensitivity. It made a world of difference for me. hope this helps.

I would assume that if you preferred to use an external mouse you could install software and plug in standard USB port.....I prefer the mouse pad that is installed already....

I use a Targus wireless mouse. You don't even have to stick anything into one of the USB drive. Install the Pairing Utility Software and then follow the direction.
