This product is great. It is the only one of its kind. I found it very difficult to install when using Mac OS X 10.4.10. The program they provide is not the most up to date. You have to go onto their web site to get the version that works with Mac OS X 10.4.10. When I downloaded what I thought was the current program, it ended up not being compatible. When I called technical support, the were limited to 2 people that could help. One person in Idaho and the other in California. I ended up having to download a program that was not under the icon of wiDock, but under an icon of one their USB device servers. The company obviously tends to the needs of a PC user. I finally have the device functioning and working well after a week of phone calls made by myself without return calls. I hope they updated their site since so that nobody has to go through what I had to experience. My suggestion to Mac OS X 10.4.10 users is to call them if you encounter any problems no matter how savvy you may think you are with Macs. There are still items they are still unfamiliar with.

When I get home I drop all my battery-powered devices into various chargers on a desk near the front door--but my iPod I have to carry downstairs and plug up to my PC running iTunes. I also have to leave myself clues (like the empty holster on top of my laptop) to remind me to go get it in the morning. This incredibly nifty gadget lets me just drop the iPod into an 802.11 wireless dock and synch it from a floor away. The instructions have a lot of steps but nothing worse than many 802.11 interfaces I've seen on laptops and they're clear and annotated with graphics. There's also an insert in the box offering live technical support although I didn't need it. I could wish it were a little cheaper but it's going to save me a lot of running up and down stairs; not to mention the "Oh <expletive deleted>!" moments when I realize I've left my iPod home. So I'm happy.
