This book provides beautful images of the historical and current flags of nations, regions, and regimes. It goes into depth with beautiful glossy images and well-researched text to provide a through understanding of each particular flag. The history and adoption of each flag is discussed, as well as how they have changed. The authors provide an introduction to vexillology as well as an in-depth introduction to heraldry. Discussions are country specific and detailed enough for the expert yet written for those new to the subject. You will not be disappointed.
