I just re read this book which has been in my collection for years. Fascinating behind the scenes stories told from interviews with all the principals of the MGM studio who were alive at the time of publication. Many photos and sketches of the setups used as well as posters and art work. When MGM was abruptly sold off, an era closed down. This book makes a wonderful accompaniment to the collection of anthology of selections of MGM musicals on DVD called " That's Entertainment." Worth buying for the fun of it.
