How would you compare this to "The Jesus Mysteries"?

This question is mainly for those who have read both this book and "The Jesus Mysteries", but I'll take answers from whoever if you have a decent understanding of the books even without reading them.

I have read "The Jesus Mysteries", and I'm wondering if this book would be worthwhile to read in addition to it? Does it repeat a lot of the same material with only minor/inconsequential details being different? Are they radically different? Or is it somewhere in between?

Also, irregardless of how it overlaps with "The Jesus Mysteries", which do you feel is the better book and why?

I would appreciate any input anyone could give. Thanks.

I have read neither, but you should get something of value from my book, "Saviors". See: saviors-robertwahler.com for an excerpt
