Aporkalypse
Inhale objects and move them around to make bridges

Some little piggies go to the market, while other little piggies stay home, but these pigs are all grown up and ready for war. Follow these four heroes of ham through fiery puzzles and save the pig world from certain doom. Use brains, brawn, and bacon to stop the Aporkalypse in Aporkalypse - Pigs of Doom on your Android device (not optimized for all tablets).

The Pig Problem

The world has a pig problem. According to an old prophecy, the four Pigs of Doom should proclaim the end of the world in a distant future--but something went terribly wrong and the gates of Heaven and Hell have already opened. Now it's up to the greedy Hunger Pig, the heavily armed War Pig, the controlling Pest Pig, and the ghostly Death Pig to stop this madness.

Know Your Pigs

• Hunger Pig: This guy's got a healthy appetite and can swallow objects and cough them up again elsewhere. This is a great skill for building bridges or activating tricky buttons.

• War Pig: This pig is heavily armed and is not to be messed with. He can shoot at enemies or through targets to clear the way.

• Pest Pig: Enemies should watch out for this nasty stink. When an opponent touches the plague cloud surround this pig, you gain control over the enemy and can move it around.

• Death Pig: This ghoul of a pig reveals the souls of the dead. After an enemy dies, Death Pig teleports to its location in ghost form.

Travel Through Dangerous Puzzles

Lead the pigs through a collapsing world full of puzzles and dangers. Combine their supernatural powers and find unforeseen riches. Don't cast pearls before swine, but collect coins for your piggy bank. Send angels and demons back to where they belong. Nobody can escape the wrath of the pigs.

Push the Piggy

Controlling your Piggy is simple. Just tap on a pig to select it and touch anywhere on the screen to move the pig towards your desired direction. You can also choose to use the on-screen D-Pad to maneuver around each environment. Push objects out of your way by simply running into them. Once you progress through this Aporkalypse, you'll be able to switch between multiple pigs. Tap on the switch icon to jump between the available pigs. Scroll freely across each level by tapping on the spyglass icon. This can help you plan out your swine strategy as you make your way across each level.

4.0 out of 5 stars before you download June 6, 2011

Okay, to everyone who Amazon is making add a payment method, listen. They do this for three reasons. First it helps their system count how many people "purchased" the game to make better decisions about future free games. Second, it allows them to give you a receipt, so if something happens to their data you can prove you got the app, seriously, the receipt says you paid. 0.00 dollars. Third, it rewards developers a fraction of what the app costs. So just do it, and stop one starring games that work fine and play well, just because you're afraid you might have to pay 99 cents; you don't.

5.0 out of 5 stars Oink! if you love great games June 6, 2011

I purchased this through Amazon a while ago (and here it is free.. ..ugh!). My only consolation is that HandyGames actually deserves my money on this one. Great game with great graphics. It's as charming as it is fun and it looks great on my Asus Transformer (10.1 tablet running 3.1 Honeycomb).

Side Note: As a result of my experiences with this game, I ended up checking out their other offerings. If you like Aporkalypse, you may want to check out other HandyGames' titles such as Guns'n'Glory, Super Dynamite Fishing, Shark or Die, and/or (my personal favorite) InfeCCt.

5.0 out of 5 stars great June 6, 2011

A really fun game with a simple premise that doesn't get old too fast. The graphics are cool and the puzzles get pretty hard with 4 pigs. Controls are great, there is a d-pad on the screen, or you can disable it and use the one on your keyboard if you have it. For a dollar it's a bargain, but for free, I wouldn't miss it if you wanted something new to play on your phone.

5.0 out of 5 stars Real review on this great game! June 6, 2011

This is truly a good game. I've had the free version for quite some time, so I was extremely happy to get the paid version for free today!

I'll admit, this is not the game I choose to play most of the time, but that's not cuz it isn't good...it just isn't my favorite game style. Regardless, it's a great game, & would be very enjoyable for anyone.

Yes, it's very easy at the beginning, but it does get harder. You have to get the pig, (or sometimes pigs,) from point a to point b, while avoiding enemies & obstacles, & while picking up coins & other things you'll need. Watch the video they have on here...it shows perfectly just what the game is like.

This game looks good, runs perfectly on my Droid x, & despite what someone else said, the controls are extremely easy. It has a back story to keep it interesting, & great game play to back it up. It's easily worth the dollar it normally costs, so you shouldn't pass it up while it's free!

*On a side note...I've decided to email Amazon. I'm done explaining one click on here. I've explained it every single day now & people still don't get it. They're too stupid to understand plain english obviously, & they're down rating every single game because of it. Amazon needs to disable reviewing for people who haven't even installed the game. It would be nice & very helpful if some of you, (who are sick of it like I am,) would email them too! Thanks!

5.0 out of 5 stars Looks & Plays Great on My Motorola Droid June 6, 2011

Fun puzzle/maze game! Good graphics (Angry Birds style) and runs smoothly. I'll probably be hooked on this one for the next week or so (depends on how long it takes to finish all the levels). It was easy to learn (tutorial in game), and has a thorough help section for added instruction.

The only permissions it wants are internet access and vibrate.

Only cons so far: huge file (about 15mb) doesn't automatically store to sd card (but I was able to manually move it), and being so large it took a couple minutes to download.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great game, good graphics, very fun. August 11, 2011

I almost did not download this app when Amazon had it as the 'Free App of the Day' because of the negative reviews at the time. But I did anyway. I am VERY glad that I did, I have not seen any merit to the negative reviews.

Pros: Good graphics, great game play idea, the puzzle style keeps you thinking, they are not super easy (at the end) that you can just mindlessly play through them. You actually have to think about what order to use different pigs in.

Cons: The only con I can really come up with is that, I wish there was more levels. After finished, I find myself still wanting to play it (even after done with the bonus levels).

Other Thoughts: All in all a very good game, very well done, just wish there was more levels now that I have beat it, my biggest disappointment is that I have finished it.

Really fun, addictive & challenging game. Graphics are great & pigs are really cool. Love that you have to think through the challenges. Only fault: not enough levels! Please create more levels! xoxo
