Funny and timely, this book really hit home with me. I guess it happens to all of us sooner or later: your life just keeps hitting a sour note; the career you worked so hard for over so many years turns and bites you on the leg; the relationships that filled your days with beautiful music are now skipping in a jarring two-note repeat like a scratched record - you get the idea.

This was a great book. Funny, rich characters, great plot, a page turner, couldn't put it down.

Sometimes you need "to run to the hills", "to leap off a bridge", or "to break loose of your troubles". Be ready to let your mind have its fun with this charmer.

What a fun ride with the motor home queens! It surprises and makes possible a vicarious adventure for minds wanting to dance and to flee the ordinary. Be prepared for a little danger as well as the soul searches and yearns for "something new or yet undone". Grab a favorite time of day and get ready to laugh, to feel inspired and to wish you were there.

The characters are well developed and the story line is wonderful! You won't want to put this book down once you get started. I have never traveled in an RV but could see myself and my best friend taking off and getting into some of the same trouble Leslie and Liz did! Great Book!

The Silver Queen Screamer is one book you will not want to put down. We all know in our own hearts, that this would be one trip we would all like to take. The laughter, the tears, the experience these two friends go through will make you want to call your best girlfriend and say, lets hit the road !!!!

As a road-trip junkie myself, I envied Leslie and Liz and their grand adventure. What middle-aged woman in her right mind wouldn't want to leave the rut behind and hit the road with a girlfriend in tow? This was certainly a fun and fabulous first novel by southern writer, Patt Fero. I can't wait to take the next wacky ride with her...

I thoroughly enjoyed the read/ride. The author created memorable characters and developed the relationships well. There was lots of humor. Overall, just what I look for in a book...a great escape.

What a fun book for Book Club - it was an adventure joining Leslie and Liz. Several of us would love to hitch a ride with these ladies and escape the daily routine. What a great concept Patt Fero has. Looking forward to more Silver Screamer adventures!

We read this for our book club - it was an enjoyable light-hearted book, fun to read with lots of laughs. Can't wait for the sequel.
