More About the Author

Clamp, stylized as CLAMP, is an all-female Japanese manga artist group that formed in the mid 1980s. Many of the group's manga series are often adapted into anime after release. It consists of their leader Nanase Ohkawa, who provides much of the storyline and screenplay for all their works and adaptations of those works respectively, and three artists whose roles shift for each series: Mokona, Tsubaki Nekoi, and Satsuki Igarashi. Almost 100 million Clamp tankōbon copies have been sold worldwide as of October 2007.

I got hooked on this manga, it's so interesting and ties into Tsubasa. This is a great series!

However, I recommend it only for those who have been an otaku (obsessed anime fan) for quite some while. This isn't a great series for newbies on anime.

Otherwise, this is a great series. You'll learn more about honorifics and there's great extras at the end. I loved this series and hopefully others will also.

CLAMP, xxxHolic vol. 3 (Del Rey, 2004)

Now things are starting to shift into gear. We've got a better idea of where the characters are positioned on this particular gameboard, how the story's going to tie into Tsubasa, and a bunch more. There's still that tone thing I can't quite wrap my head around, and since I'm reading it in tandem with Love Hina (which is superior), I can't help comparing the two, but it's still fun. ***

I find this series really enjoyable and I'm not generally an manga fan. It's cute and fun.
