I was very surprised at the quality of these earphones. In fact I am also surprised that they looked like the ones pictured. As far as I can tell, they are almost exact replicas of the $29.95 Apple iPod Earphones- MA662G/B and at a very reasonable price of $3.99. I havent held them up and given them a microscopic comparison with the Apple brand, but with a casual glance at both models you will think they are the same. I have only had the new ones for about 10 days so I dont know the long term quality of them. And while I cant say that they will perfectly match the audio quality of the Apple brand, I can say that they passed my "Dark Side Of The Moon" test. I recommend that you buy about 5 packs of these, and keep one in your car, your desk, and your whatever, with a couple to spare.

UPDATE - There seems to be a lot of disagreement on the quality of these earphones and I suspect there is some inconsistency on just what they are getting. The photo of the earphones now looks different than the ones I received so Im not sure what youre going to get if you order them. I got a good batch, but bought some more from a different source and they fell apart.

I had purchased these earbuds because one of the sides of my previous pair stopped functioning. At first, these were great, but soon after receiving them, the same side actually of this pair stopped working.

i wanted ipod earbuds and got some cheap off brand, not even close to my ipod ones that i already have. did they think i wouldn't notice?

They are a quick and innexpensive replacement. By no means are they Bose, but since I go through these a lot and break them or lose them, I need them to be as cheap as possible.

I lost my iPod headphones and instead of spending $25+ on replacing them with the so-so Apple headphones, I got these. They're not identical, but very close, and are perfect for the price.

don't buy them. simple. they sound like you're listening to a stereo on low volume on the other end of a mile-long cavern. yeah, it's that bad. don't be enticed by the nice picture and the low price. it's worth it to just go to target and buy the official apple buds. that's what i'm about to do.

They are excellent earbuds but lacks bass but do you really expect that for in-ear headphones?
They are very durable and last a beating(stepped on them a cuple of times *accidentally*)

i bought these to replace my other headphones... so far so good..im actually listenin to them right now with my ipod as i type this review.. happy wit my purchase. i use them wit my ipod, cellphone, and portable dvd player.. quick shipping and i am a satisfied customer.

What can I say? If you buy a cheap set of earphones you can't expect to get a high quality, long lasting set of earphones. These look pretty good and the price was certainly low enough to give them a try. Unfortunately, they were uncomfortable in the ear and they lasted three days before they suffered some sort of malfunction that caused the sound to become very distorted. The music would sound ok but you could not hear the voices when someone was singing. I verified that the problem was with these earphones by comparing them with my ipod earphones on the same mp3 player and the same song. The ipod earphones sounded great and these sounded like junk. I could hear the music fairly clearly but the voice of the singer was so faint that I could not make out the words. I am very disappointed but considering what I paid for these it is not worth the hassle of sending these back.

The work OK. At this price level there is not much to ask for. On the durability side I still can not give an opinion because I purchased them just a few days ago. Just in case, I bought three of them.
