About Devinder Kumar Dhiman
Born in 1965 in a small town near Chandigarh in north India. Completed his studies of engineering from the prestigious Marine Engineering and Research Institute in Kolkata in 1988. Got his First Class Engineering Officer license from Directorate General of Shipping of India in 1997. Became head of the technical department of a Norwegian ship plying in international waters in 1999 and continues to hold this position till date.
He has a special interest in the studies of creation of matter and the Universe. He pursued this interest for many years trying to understand various theories of physics related to the creation of universe. During this journey through the world of physics, he got new ideas which were different from the established theories but made the subject very simple. He wrote the book 'Lines of Space', where his new and unique notions are used to explain the creation of universe, in a very simple manner.

Review of 'Lines of Space' posted on amazon dated 24.02.2014New way of looking into physics!I loved the way of how physics gets mixed on the context of a family! It made physics more enjoyable and simple than I thought possible. Really a good read! Recommend it!See More7 years ago Read more -

Big Bang never happenedI am reading a book, 'Big Bang never happened' written by Eric. J. Lerner. The author blows off all the evidence supporting Big-Bang theory, very easily. It is incredible, how the scientists succeded in making the common man believe that our entire universe appeared from a point, smaller than the tip of a needle, in a big imaginary explosion of such high force, that the stars ànd galaxies are still moving outwards with ever i7 years ago Read more -

Effect of Dark Energy on Space-Time Concept Space-time concept of gravity is nearly a hundred year old, and is well established. It has firm proof in measurement of ‘time dilation’ carried out on board the satellites, where the precise atomic clocks record time slower than they would, at Earth. Hence, it seems imprudent to even suggest that there can be any reconsideration of this concept. Nevertheless, with the new notion of dark energy in space, we7 years ago Read more -

Lines of Space: Source of Fundamental Forces and Constituent of All Matter in the Universe

Sahil is a student, having difficulty in understanding science. Unable to get past his hurdles, he loses interest in science. Then, his father takes upon himself to teach him and help him continue his studies by simplifying the various aspects of science. While teaching his son, he finds himself wondering about some of the questions of science related to creation of the Universe, which did not seem to have satisfactory answers. He ruminates about these questions and comes up with entirely different concept of creation of Universe. To explain his concept, he first simplifies the prevalent theories of physics related to Atomic Structure, Gravitation, Behaviour of Light, Theory of Relativity and Creation of the Universe, thereafter, he elucidates on his unique concept of Creation of the Universe from empty space with illustrations and logic, where all matter in the Universe is created from space itself and the fundamental forces subsist due to stress in the 'Lines of Space'

In the year 1900, the famous professor of physics in the University of Berlin, Max Planck, derived a formula for energy distribution of black-body radiation. He gave the explanation of his formula using quantization of energy, which was a great shift from the classical physics and led to the birth of Quantum physics. In this formula, he also made use of probability, which led to strange results and a requirement was always felt to prove the formula without probability. The author had derived this formula of physics without probability and published the results in the Indian Journal of Science and Technology. Since the article published in the journal is difficult to assimilate for the layman, the author has written this book explaining the derivation of the formula by traditional method as well as without the use of probability.

This book is about the the creation of the Universe, written in simple conversational style, with a background story set in India. According to Big Bang theory approximately 13.7 billion year ago, an infinitesimal point in space exploded with such a gigantic force that it is still expanding. During its expansion, it caused the formation of billions of galaxies, numerous stars and our own solar system. This is the most popular scientific theory of the creation of the universe, though it is not flawless. Therefore, a perpetual quest for alternative idea is on. A few ideas of the creation of the universe are based on the widespread conviction that there exists something unseen in empty space, that can convert into particles. Author of this book presented one such idea in his first book Lines of Space, where a medium of space was imagined to be present in empty space, even in vacuum. The book "The Big Bang and Lines of Space' presents a comparison between the Big Bang theory and Lines of Space concept through a dialogue. This book can be read as stand alone without reading the first part 'Lines of Space', and is easy to understand for even non-scientific persons.
