Funny book for when you don't want to think or concentrate. I love picking it up for some quick laughs. Sometimes you just need to giggle because you can relate. What I love most about this book is that it brings back memories of my past that I had forgotten.
The book is IMPRESSIVE. At first I thought oh my, this is just line by line, 1000 times, this may get hard to read. But as soon as I realized it rhymed, that made it so much more enjoyable. That had to be very hard to write, much harder than a novel I'd think - to not only write unique lines, but that are poetic and in categories, very impressive. That being said, I think because of the subject nature it would be considered a good "bathroom read." The clip art, characters with talking bubbles and quotes are nice additions. A nice, easy read that you'll find yourself either nodding along agreeing with, and/or occasionally saying "I hope I don't do that!"
This is a unique literary work of art with social, political, humanitarian, cultural, patriotic, greed, relationship, sexuality, parenthood, wealth, friendship, business, spiritual, and many more themes that will made me think, smirk, laugh, and ponder about behaviors in our world. You will find things that you, your friends, family, acquaintances, and people do that impact the behavioral fabric of our world society. Great book to self-reflect upon yourself, accept people for who they are, think about people you just do not want in your life, and talk about behaviors that just suck. 1,001 People That Suck
If you hate things or people that suck, this is the book for you. Everything that could possibly suck is listed in this fun book. Read it in one sitting, or pick it up periodically but either way you'll laugh, groan, and agree that many things suck. When you're done reading, go to her website and chat with others about what sucks.
And honestly, I thought I was the only one who noticed that many things suck.
this book is so real and I found some of it hilarious, the rest of it was so serious that it makes you think about yourself to make sure you are not one of them. This book was so enjoyable I read it in under 24 hours and I wish the list was longer! buy this Book its so new and cool and it just came out yesterday!!
This book is hilarious! It really captures every scenario of people dispalying "sucky" behavior. The more you read, the more you can relate to people you know (even yourself) that are guilty of it. The illustrations throughout the book make you smile too! A definite MUST READ! Kudos to the author, curious to see what she comes up with next! : )
