Purple Coneflowers are easy to grow from seed, and are beautiful once established. First till the soil to a depth of about 2 inches, then distribute the coneflower seed. Rake it in gently. Now water every day lightly until the sprouts emerge, then water every other day until well established. They should bloom in the first year if planted early enough. The plants will grow to a size of 24-36 inches and are self-perpetuating, in fact, they will spread and take over a garden or area quite easily. I like to mix these in with Shasta Daisies and Black-Eyed Susans, for a colorful mix. The birds love these seeds, and butterflies will land on the flowers as well.

none of the coneflowers came up. a ton of the black eyed susans I planted with them came up fine. I'm an experienced gardener for what it's worth...

Well I ordered these along with 5 other seeds and whereas the quality of the seeds appears to be good, i am a tad disappointed that nothing in my order was labeled at all, so i had to Google each seed to find out what they looked like so i could label them not hard to do but it was annoying and when i order seeds i expect them to be clearly labeled. Which is why i gave an over all 3 star rating. Also shipping was slow but that is to be expected considering they came from Singapore.

So Seed Quality 5 stars.
Company common sense 2 stars.

I did not plant these in full sun, and they did not come up. I don't know if it was me or the seeds, but I would be sure to plant them in full sun which is recommended. I don't know what to put in that area of my garden now it is so late in the year.

These had an AWESOME germination rate and have been very sturdy healthy little seedlings- BUT be careful not to sow too many seeds- also coneflower kind of looks like a weed when its not in flower : (

HOLY COW. IT'S BEEN ALMOST TWO MONTHS AND STILL: NO SEEDS HAVE ARRIVED. NOTHING. NOW, IT'S TOO LATE TO START THESE IN THE GREENHOUSE. TRULY, FIND ANOTHER STORE, OR BUY LOCAL, I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE!

Recieved the item super fast. Planted them the next day. Within 2 weeks they began bursting through the ground with new sprouts everywhere. Can't wait for them to bloom. It's going to be oddles of color. Will definitely be back next year to purchase more.

These seeds took forever to arrive, only to never grow. Planted them in various locations and not a single one sprouted. Very disappointed. The only good thing is the price, but definitely not worth buying.
