Complete waste of money!

Only 1 worked, the rest were garbage. Followed the instructions to saturate with clean water first, still no bubbles, replaced air line, replaced pump... Went back to original airline and pump and a different brand of stone and I finally got bubbles.

They're small but they work well in my hydroponic system aerating buckets. Unlike all the other stones I've tried, these just work. Other airstones I've used get clogged or just stop emitting bubbles after a few days. I assume the nutrient soup is making them unhappy.

I was hoping for something that would uniformly produce very small bubbles at low pressure. Not the case: there are larger passages that will vent all the gas at low pressure.

These work just fine but I broke a few trying to get the airline off after they'd been in tanks, they just crumbled in my hands. That's why they give you 20, I guess. The bubbles are on the larger side but since oxygenation happens via surface agitation, size does not matter here : )

So far so good. The airstones all came in a small plastic bag wrapped in bubble wrap. One airstone makes plenty of bubbles and I have enough in case one or two breaks. Some reviews claim it gets clogged after a week but I haven't seen that yet. Some other reviews claim the stone floats but I have suction cups ($2 for a pack of 5) so that doesn't apply to me.

I thought wow, this is a nice deal. These bubble stones in my experience work about a week and a half in any aquarium I put them in. After that air will not pump through them anymore. At first I just thought the one I pulled out of the bag was just a dud. Not, the whole bag. I know it isn't my pumps either. I have three aquariums and three different pumps of varying sizes. Every single stone has failed. The longest one I had stay pumping air was two and a half weeks. I would really look else where...unless your tank only need air for two weeks max.

Pros
- While they work, they work well
- Their output is on par with other bubble stones.

Cons
- Their overly short lifespan
