I only need the most simple product. I write letters, notes, lists and budgets. This is the second download of a program that I tried. I am very impressed with this Office Suite for my Windows 10. Simple. There is much more on this program to play with if I decide to expand my horizons - but right now this seems exactly perfect for what I need.
Also, it was super easy to install - put it in and follow the directions. The price was great and much less expensive that the first program I bought.
I would recommend this to anyone, like me, who does not have the technical knowledge needed to run most of the machines today.

I've been using a free addition of Open Office 3.1 for years without problems. IMO Open Office is easy to use and full featured, comparable to its competitors. I use the draw, write and presentation applications. If you have a problem or issue, there's plenty help and online assistance. I didn't mind paying for the current version because I've used previous versions of Open Office for years without cost. I do appreciate the free clip art and additional fonts. Open Office is inexpensive and performs well, comparable to other software applications. Don't be fooled because of the nominal cost. My computers utilize Windows 8 and 10. Open Office is compatible with Microsoft software.

This word processing program must be inherently spell checkless. I went online to ask a question and it seems the majority of questions were about how to get spell check to work. It is a little crude but if I could use spell check it would suit my purposes. I bought it because it was cheap and I no longer need high tech word processing but I also make quite a few spelling errors. I also was under the impression that it could open documents from several other processors including Word. That didn't pan out.
