Due to an autoimmune disorder, my hair started falling out like crazy and bald spots started appearing. I tried numerous products in the hopes of growing my hair back, with no luck. Until I saw a video recommending an expensive hair oil but I did some research and found that Abyssinian oil was the main ingredient. Hopped on here and did some searching and came across this. The reviews looked good, the price was reasonable, and I’d already tried so many other things so why not one more. I am so glad I did! The picture on the left was when I started using it in September 2022. I try to apply it twice a week but I’ll be honest, I’m not very consistent. The second picture was in November 2022. Two months and I was already noticing a difference! I braided my hair the other day and those little baby hairs were actually long enough to be included and that spot is even less thin. Even my hairstylist said that my hair is thicker and healthier. I’ve also started using it as a moisturizer as my face does not do well with winter weather and it’s drastically helped with that too. I am so thankful I tried this stuff!!

I was an avid Monat user—I LOVED their oil, but wasn’t a fan of the scent or price tag. I’ve been on the search for a scalp oil that compared and this one is IT, plus more. It’s lighter than the Monat oil— doesn’t weigh down my hair or irritate my scalp, but moisturizes better and makes my hair shiner. I will purchase again.

The first picture was the first time I used the oil and it was softer but my hair was just so dry and frizzy. But the second picture was the only the second time I’ve used the oil and you can see such a difference!! It’s so soft now and barely any frizz. I was contemplating on chopping my hair off because it was so dry but this oil has literally saved my hair!

I used it on my hair although I’m sure it can be used as a face oil as well. Wanted a dupe of Monat Rejuvenique oil that wasn’t as expensive. Works almost exactly the same! It will now be a staple in my hair care routine. I like to use this Abyssinian oil on my scalp with peppermint oil to control dandruff, then I’ll use it on my ends.

Instead of splurging on olaplex and other big name, expensive companies, invest in this hair oil and it’ll save your hair!!! This oil is the best match to the oil your scalp naturally produces so it’s really great and natural for your hair. I will work a dropper through the ends of my hair if I’m wearing my hair down and it’s not greasy at all and very light weight! Or I’ll put 3-4 droppers full throughout my hair and pin my hair up to let it fully soak in! Amazing product and amazing customer service!
