I stumbled upon this product as I got sidetracked from searching for something else...as usually happens. Anyway, I have constant puffiness under my eyes and this has seemed to make some improvement. I use it in the morning. It works well under makeup. I also use it at night. When I wake up in the morning, my under eyes still feel very hydrated. I have chronic dark circles that nothing can help, including this product so far. I've only been using it for about a week, so we'll see how it works for dark circles after more use. There is a very mild scent and it is not irritating to the skin. You only need a very small amount, too. Worth the money in my opinion. I plan to re-order this when this tube is empty.

A Little Goes a Long Way

I agree with the review that says "realistic expectations are key". I got the sample/travel size of this eye cream specifically to mix with eyeshadow primer, because it has the right consistency for my needs and dries down very quickly to a flat/matte finish. It's very spreadable without being liquidy, so I use a tiny dot at a time (barely squeezing the tube), and it stays right where I want. I most likely won't be able to use this up before it expires. I got this essentially as a makeup tool, not expecting skincare miracles. I can see how people might be disappointed by some of the big claims made by the company. tbh, I use sunblock, and more affordable limited-ingredient, active ingredient type stuff to address my individual skincare needs long-term, rather than any sort of gimmicky creams (my regimen of active ingredients includes low-percentage retinol, BHA, & niacinamide, mostly from the ordinary, in case you're wondering!). Many dermatologists & skincare experts say a separate eye cream isn't always necessary, and whatever moisturizer you already use is fine.

The ingredients have a STRONG sweet/cloying smell that doesn't dry down much. I'm sensitive to scents, so it might not bother other people as much. This might sound really weird, but the smell almost reminds me of my little pony toys I had as a kid. Aloe and rose oil (some of the top ingredients) are known topical allergens. The scent might also be causing some people irritation. "Natural" does not equal allergen-free or gentle, plants are powerful stuff y'all! ewg.org is a good resource for checking out ingredients before buying products. This definitely stings and makes my eyes watery if I apply it too close to my waterline. Be sure to patch test products before using anything near eyes!!

I've included photos to show that the tube is partially full, but I think that's normal. You should still receive the right amount of product. Other reviews made me curious, so I weighed this on my kitchen scale. The one I got weighs 0.42 oz total, so it's reasonable to expect that the packaging itself weighs around 0.12 oz, and you still get 0.3 fl oz of eye cream. It's roughly the size of a small lip balm tube. Hope this helps!

I'm not sure exactly what it's supposed to do, so I don't know if it's doing it (LOL) but what I do know is that it is a pleasure to use. I typically wear very little makeup, and don't fuss all that much about my appearance, so when I first bought this eye cream over a year ago, I felt kind of silly buying it - and when I received the teeny-tiny tube, I felt even sillier. Why would I spend so much money on something that looked like a sample size? However, this little tube lasts a really long time, because you only need a tiny amount for each application.
I loved using it - it feels and smells very luxurious, and I saw that it made a difference in my dark circles and bags, so when the first tube finally started to run out, I didn't hesitate at all to buy another one.
So why, after all this time, am I reviewing it now? This weekend I was tending my daughter's farm, and wondering if I was over-estimating the effect this cream actually has, I left it at home. This morning back at home, while getting ready for work I noticed the huge dark bags under my eyes - which wasn't necessarily surprising because I didn't really get much sleep. However, I decided to put on some eye cream - kind of laughing at myself for expecting it to make much of a difference - and then went about my business, not thinking about it again. While driving to work, though, I caught a glimpse of myself in the rear view mirror and was startled to see that the bags and dark circles were gone!
I doubt I'll take this stuff for granted again! I love it!!

After using it for a few weeks I did not notice that my dark circle improved and I did notice a little redness under my eye in the first week of using this product. The redness has since subsided, but this cream may not be good for really sensitive skin. Overall I love the scent and the product hydrates my undereye area, but if you are looking to get rid of dark circles this is probably not the product for you.

I came back to this and had forgotten how moisturising this is for the eye area.
