Pros:
Large bright pictures

Cons:
None

Notes:
I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my sister. She had it on her amazon wish list and she really liked the book. I looked through it quickly and was impressed by the full page bright pictures.

Final Thoughts:
I'm not really into shoes (at all) but I could see how this would be interesting to a shoe lover (like my sister).

This is an amazing book showcasing a beautiful collection of shoes.
Like any other publication by the Metropolitan Museum of Art this book is carefully made with bright stylish color photography along with concise and informative text that is highly readable.
The collection depicted in this book is exceptional and shows a wide variety of styles that span over a period of 500 years.
Highly recommended book along with its companion: 100 Dresses: The Costume Institute / The Metropolitan Museum of Art 100 Dresses: The Costume Institute / The Metropolitan Museum of Art

It's a very good book with beautiful photos and the descriptions are well written. The text explains in few words the evolution of shoes through out the time. I recommend this book to everyone who is searching for the history of shoes as a student, professional ou just for curiosity. It really worth while.
