About the Author
Tom Weber is a host for Minnesota Public Radio News. Originally from the Chicago area, he was familiar with cold and winter. But upon moving here at the start of a two-week, below-zero cold snap, Tom quickly embraced all things Minnesota. He lives in St. Paul and generally likes to spend his free time outside (even in the winter) and enjoys biking, hiking, running and cross-country skiing. He was also happy to learn, during his research for this book, that there are still plenty of places in the Twin Cities still to discover. This is this first book.

A very helpful book that is written with a good deal of humor. Everyone who visits the Twin Cities – even those who have been there before – should give it a read. I hope that the publisher is featuring this book prominently at the airport.

What better way to discover a fun 'to-do" list in the Twin Cities by Minnesota Public Radio "The Daily Circuit" expert, Tom Weber? Fun, quick book that provides great tips on what things you need to explore, eat, see and do.

If you’re actually new to Minneapolis it’s a good basic guide. Otherwise use the internet.

I wish I'd had this book years ago! The author has included a little something for everybody, covering a broad spectrum of interests. I've lived in the Twin Cites area for decades, and several of his suggestions were delightful surprises. Next time out-of-state friends come to visit, I'm going to look like the ultimate tour guide. Very cool book.

Got this as a gift for a friend that is staying with us for a year. We ended up going through and planning out our top 10 must do activities with the help of this book. Even as someone who has spent 30+ years living in the Twin Cities, I was surprised that many of these were things I would not have thought of.

As a regular visitor to MN, I found in this book a treasure trove of fun, inexpensive activities. There are little tips and ideas for even the "touristy" places that are not obvious to us outsiders (& quite possibly not obvious to those from the area). I appreciate the book does not just regurgitate what you find on the MN websites and includes how to get more info on each activity.

If you need a handy guide for inspiring places to visit in the Twin Cities, then Tom Weber's book is the one to have in your home - better yet, your car.
