This book really expanded on the events of 9/11 for me while documenting some similar examples of state sponsored terrorism. I became familiar with the concept of false flags and the extreme measures taken by members of a governmental rogue network in order to achieve certain desired results. Tarpley, among many others, presents a serious challenge to the validity of the 9/11 Commision's official story which tends to make less and less sense. This book should inspire skepticism in major history changing events that all seem to have a pattern. I highly recommend Synthetic Terror to anyone.

One of the main premises of this book is a criticism of propaganda. Then, the author proceeds to proselytize in the same or similar inflammatory language he criticizes. It defeats the effectiveness of a presentation of any of the facts that are disturbing to critical thinkers reviewing the 9/11 commission report. I would recommend David Ray Griffin's books instead. He presents his concerns by setting forth the facts in a logical and systematic fashion that stays on point. Although I do not find everything in his books compelling, it certainly gives one pause in accepting the 9/11 commission report as factually and accurately depicting the events of that horrific day.

You guys said it before and you are absolutely right......This book is not for the "average reader". You need to possess a higher level of IQ to fully understand what Tarpley is talking about. For those of you who don't know Tarpley, well..let me put it to you this way....This guy may be the most intelligent speaker,writer,journalist and author I have ever heard. His absolute knowledge and mastery of world history is mind blowing ( as I have read many authors ). As for the book, 9/11 Synthetic Terror: Made in USA, Fourth Edition is filled with interesting facts, historical findings and a great review of aspects regarding international terrorism in general. He goes over certain facts revolving around that day and the people involved that make it very obvious that 911 was an inside job. Again the average reader probably doesnt understand the basic foundations of the power structure, the establishment, history of covert CIA operations or the history of false flag events...so i don't expect everyone to accept this book. Most of us have been brainwashed into believing what the government has told us since the beginning. It seems to go against what we conceptualize as normal. As you can see the power elite that control us are very clever and very smart. A matter of fact, most of us are so diverged from reality, that we dont even know what to accept or believe. Wake up and look at the world around you....research 911....want to know the truth and it will find you. But if your scared of reality..your subconcious will always find a way to use denial and justify another possiblity. Time is running out.....[...]

Webster Tarpley is not the greatest writer, but he is a great researcher and very knowledgeable about what goes on within the power elite and intelligence agencies. This book covers it all. A must have for any student of current affairs and recent history.

If you've recently become aware of the 911-truth movement and were lucky enough to stumble upon Webster Griffin Tarpley's book "Synthetic Terror", then let me say that there is no finer book or video on the subject. Mr. Tarpley is virtually uniquely insightful in matters of transgressions against the body politic by the Oligarchy(s) and to say his research is exhaustive is an understatement. I only wish that he had more works available and was more visible in the media. To those who thirst for more Webster Tarpley like myself, you must read his essays on the history of the Venetian Oligarchy and it's post Cambrai war transplantation to Great Britain and the Netherlands. I would love to hear him address the connection of this group to the creation of the stock corporation, which along with private banks and intelligence agencies have become the chief tool of control and oppression of the ruling class in modern times.

Tarpley's book, "9/11 Synthetic Terror Made in USA" is a quasi-scholarly book written for general consumption by the public. While the author grabs hold of specific instances in which the Bush administration utilized either events or, more commonly, threats, to terrorize the public and to obtain its political agenda through the congress, Tarpley insinuates that some of the terroristic events that we experience may be part of a rational design. If half of what Tarpley states is true, we, as Americans, ought to really be afraid and we must wake up. Overall, the writing is captivating, it is written well, and most readers will follow the story from page to page without any problems. An excellent conspiracy theory book that merits a reading by anyone who holds any concern regarding the manufacture of terror and opportunistic use of terror for agenda setting. It's not the most scholarly book and, at time, Tarpley seems to get a little tangential. I'd give this an A-.

Where do I begin, since I am not gifted with the power of flowery speech. This book, among many other related books, is trying to warn us about a terrible situation which has over taken us with unspeakble evil intentions. In fact it is so evil to suggest that manny are offended that we even dare to think this could happen: These naysayers are so deeply brainwashed they're beyond the touch of reality. This is exactly what the evil, scheming oligarchy is betting on that you won't believe any of this could be true. Some of you are crticial of this author's presentation of his information. So let me warn those below a certain level of IQ intelect that this is not an easy to read book. The author of this book already presumes you're up to date with certain facts of history and names and roles of various actors in this plot. Was WW1 & WWII true? Was Nagasaki and Hiroshima true? Was the Holocaust true? Was WMD of Iraq true? is the WMD of Syria true? All of the preceding representation of the evil, plotting elites consolidating their gold and power at the expense of our lives. And you still say no it can't be true? Your children's future is at stake here folks...keep sleeping at at the risk of your own demise.

Excellent work based on much historical precedent. To truly appreciate the work one needs to first have read "The Great Game" by Peter Hopkirk and "The Grand Chessboard" by Zbigniew Brzezinski which set the stage for current events. It is now America's turn but the population is marked by a "submissive and credulous gullibility" that the perps exploited to the fullest extent. Lemmings on the road to slavery we are.
From a professional pilots perspective the official story is laughable in the extreme not to mention the "explosive" collapse of the towers caused by "an airplane strike and some jet fuel".
Highly recommended for those who dare to pursue the truth.
