Caps unscrew and the "click top" clicks open in your pocket

I had hoped to use these small bottles for hand sanitizer to keep in my pocket for use at the gym, supermarket etc. The size is fine, the problem is that the small "flip top" either unscrews or pops open in my pocket almost daily. I have tried horsing these tops down with a small plier and they still come loose. When I can get the top to stay in the place, the little "pop top" pops open and sanitizes my junk.

If you keep these bottle on a desk top or in a drawer, they should be fine. I do use them for pure maple syrup so I don't over indulge in extra calories with my high protein pancakes (weightlifter) and sitting in the fridge filled with maple syrup undisturbed, they work well.

If you plan to travel with these in a carry on bag, put them in a plastic bag. Or get the version with a solid, fixed screw on cap or the small spout top that you pop open with your finger. Hard to give them more than 2 stars based on my experience with them. Hope that helps!

I do a lot of traveling, and also take my toiletries to the gym each day. These bottles are the perfect size. The bottles are small enough to pack in a carry-on. I can fit a number of them, along with my other items, in the TSA required "quart sized bag." The fact that they come in a 12 pack also means I can pack some in my carry-on and put additional bottles in my checked luggage if I expect to need more than two ounces on a trip. I am really glad that I ordered these, and would recommend them to "gym rats" and travelers everywhere.

I use these bottles for homeless outreach. I break down donated large bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and even laundry detergent into these smaller, portable bottles that are easier for the homeless to carry in their packs. The only warning I can give with them is that in intense heat (we live in central Arizona) the pop tops can pop up and the liquid can expand out.

If you looking for a bottle to carry around then look no further. If you looking for a bottle that will get extensive use then keep looking further. The bottle walls feel as if they will crack after a lot of daily use. They will work well for traveling (shampoo) but not for every day hand sanitizers
