I bought this to glue a leather shift boot and e-brake handle boot on my 2011 WRX limited. The cheapo black vinyl that Subaru used for these clashed with the beautiful black leather seats with red stitching, and just. . . . had to go. Entre' JPM Coachworks who sells matching boots, and they recommended this product for the install.
It worked perfectly! I was able to spray glue on both surfaces, let them tack, then press them together. any overspray I was able to wipe off with a mild cleaner (prior to it drying).
Since then I've found a BUNCH of other uses in/around my cars: I helped a friend repair her headliner (Mazda6 - it was starting to come down in the back), I used it generously on some door panel insulation that I'd removed to install sound deadener, and to glue down some marine foam onto a pressure treated piece of wood.
I can't yet speak to longevity in harsh environments, but for what I used it for (which was what I purchased it for), its been perfect!

Tried bonding plastic on plastic for an outdoor application.
Not water resistant as advertised, the bond came apart as soon as it got wet.
It works very well is stronger than super glue does not crack and is delicate on the product and serves its purpose.Published on November 30, 2013 by anon
This was to reset my son's Mustang upholstery. It didn't. I'd stick (no pun intended) with gel type adhesives instead.Published on October 22, 2013 by William Cooper
